One way to go 'green' with your bridal bouquet using Hen and Chicks succulents

My sweet customer Sandy mentioned a beautiful bridal bouquet she'd seen using succulents. They add a very unique look for a memorable bouquet.

The bride can choose to use as many or as few of the succulents as desired. The overall effect of the bouquet (above) could be softened by incorporating more flowers, and using only one or two of the succulents.  It's definitely a unique statement that's unforgettable.

Angela's Red & White Classic Wedding

Angela looked absolutely beautiful for her July wedding with this all red cascading bouquet. Her bridesmaids wore red dresses and held white cascading bouquets, Here are pictures of some of what we created for her wedding.

The Latest Wedding Flower Trend

The latest wedding flower trend  is Sophistication with a capital "S".  And the flowers that look best with the dresses this year, with their layers of beautiful tulle, lace and or organza, are the exquisite and romantic garden roses, peonies and ranunculus. Below are pictures of these beautiful flowers which come in a variety of colors.

Garden Roses
Peony
Ranunculus
They all have a rich looking texture from the ruffled edges that lends a look that is opulent. Peonies and ranunculus bloom in the Spring and early Summer, but the garden roses have a longer growing period and are one of my favorites. A shorter cascade, crescent or round bouquet looks wonderful with a delicate and sophisticated wedding dress.
